The ATAGO PAL-102S is an electronic refractometer specifically designed for measuring the concentration of cutting oil, also known as metalworking fluids. Cutting oils are high-quality industrial oils derived from mineral oil and are enhanced with additives to prevent rust, foam, stabilize emulsions, and offer antibacterial properties. When diluted with water at appropriate ratios, cutting oils create a versatile metalworking solution with excellent lubrication, high emulsion stability, corrosion resistance, and rust prevention.

The PAL-102S is ideal for monitoring the dilution ratio and controlling the concentration of hydraulic oils and cleaning agents. In addition to cutting oil, the PAL-102S can also measure the concentration of lubricants and other rust-preventive oils.
